Easy-Off Sockets

Easy-Off sockets are a simple way of managing your standby energy consumption.

We have created a range of products that make it easy for you to ensure that your TV, AV equipment, lamps, and other appliances are fully turned off and not left switched on or in standby mode. This helps to reduce your energy costs and save you money.

As well as the energy saving benefits the products make it very convenient and easy to turn off equipment when it is difficult to access the sockets when they are behind or under furniture.

The Easy-Off socket will automatically cut off the electricity to all your connected peripheral equipment. For your PC system this would be your scanner, printer, speakers, table lamp etc. For your AV equipment this would be the CD player, amplifier, DVD player etc.

This means that when you turn off your main piece of control equipment such as your TV or PC then nothing else is left in standby mode wasting needless energy.

The Easy-Off socket also has one always on socket for important equipment that you need to leave turned on.

The main control equipment (PC or TV for example) is plugged into the control socket, your peripheral equipment is connected to the auto sockets. When the main equipment is turned off the unit senses the drop in power levels and will automatically cut the power to the auto sockets. When the main equipment is turned on again the process is reversed.

The product has 1 always on socket for use with equipment that needs to be left turned on such as set top boxes, recorders, etc.
